Style: Sprung Up For Spring

Ever since being pregnant, I’ve been living in maxi dresses for so long they’re in style again! Now that baby Q and spring are here, I think it’s time for a wardrobe update! I haven’t bothered with covering fall and winter looks for obvious reasons but I would suggest to keep your stylish trench coats and knee-high boots for my ladies in the cooler areas; I’m even still wearing by boots in Miami with my shorter spring dresses. Bright, bold lips are also the look of the moment and does much to brighten a gray spring day!

For the past few years, designers have been mindful of the economy and are keeping their new collections similar to the previous year’s styles. Classics like florals, stripes, polka dots and prints are this year’s trend again. You won’t have to shop far from your closet for these looks. Ensembles can be spruced up by adding pops of color or vibrant graphics and tribal inspired pieces. If you’re not into going for an all-out bold piece, you can experiment with smaller accessories to give your look a more modern edge.

It’s all about going back to femininity this year. Women of all ages can rock these looks with the right grace and attitude! Happy spring everyone!
